Flying an airliner is a complex task. It requires highly trained pilots working together to get hundreds of tonnes of metal and people safely into the air. The margin for error is small, and when mistakes do happen, they can be catastrophic.
When things go well, this complexity looks like clockwork - each of the components inter...

    May I just say, all conspiracy theories aside, this had to be one of the dumbest crew to be put together for a flight, all in one night on a single flight. The combined IQ in that cockpit wouldn't touch double digits by any stretch of the imagination. RiP to all those poor innocent cabin crew and passengers who would have never seen this coming.

    And so you with this film contribute to the fog of war, please do your research again searching for the movement 2 days before of the radar apping satellite ferret by the americans to see from space radar coveridge, in noway did you mention on this night the chaos as many other aircraft were flying wrong due to deviations of VOR beacon positions, the uss mercury that was positioned to simulate the beacon to so put kal007 off course and as covered by german press for instance TAZ who reported the final act in Geneva wher the american were forced to pay compensation qnd to prommis never againto use civilian aircraft inits little war games. If you look at your conclushion that the crew were intentionally flying off course, just reinsert they were to over kamchatka by us inteligence. They were so far off course this can only be explained by electronic warfare against them I lived through this event and followed it very closely and even have in my attic the news clippings including the final act in geneva it was also covered in detail by the frankfurter algemein zeitung the FAZ the TAZ articles were however better . I find it today a disgrace that the americans have been weeding the internet, leaving out the truth so you come to produce this film based only on whats left. The truth is known for instance by south korean airways,ask the relatives of any of the crew or any of the passengers. they were all compensated for the loss of their loved ones by the usa department of defence

    The pilots could have easily avoided this whole problem if they put full throttle in right when they didn't take off the first time. This should have been the first instinct in any half decent pilot.

    Anyone who claims that plane crashes are rare is very wrong. None of us must trust any airline, any pilot, any technician, and any airplane. Those two pilots are nothing less than killers! They shouldn't allowed to fly a plane. What the hell were they doing during the flight? This is charlatanism!!!

  • @shadowshow701

    What amazing pilots. It worries me though that this generation of military trained pilots, with their background in hand-flying and fighter jets, are gradually aging out, only to be replaced by a younger generation who do not have any of the skill sets needed to hand fly a plane or cope with an emergency like this. Automation and robotics can never replace the endlessly adaptable creativity, lateral thinking and resourcefulness of an experienced human pilot - no matter what miracles they claim for AI, this will never change

  • @brianabbott3280
    @brianabbott3280 16 часов назад

    I am confused! OK, the pilots could not pull up for a long period of time because there was too much resistance from the steering column. Couldn't an electrical motor do the physical work in such an emergency? Why don't they have such a motor? Or maybe get rid of the steering column completely and replace it with a digital control, or at least have a digital control back up when the column gets too hard to pull up.

    Your videos are amazing, and as a former car accident investigator I draw 3 critical conclusions about airplanes: 1. We must not trust humans. They make too many mistakes. 2. Boeing planes crash too much. I will never fly them again. 3. It is highly not recommended to fly in the dark... Super unsafe.

    Yes, he did do it. There is no other way and the PM of Malaysia told the PM of Australia in the first week that it was the pilot, ("senior member of flight crew") Is the actual term they used. So Yes, the pilot took the plain. One thing I dont understand is why the first officer didn't use the medical oxygen which lasts for a day, and get in that cockpit. In 8 hours I could get through that door.

EDIT: I know that ATC will be able to measure ground speed rather than airspeed, but in conjunction with weather data, isn't it possible to calculate it, with precision of like, 10 knots?

    please provide evidence for the secondary radar showing the last position without altitude, to prove the SATCOM milisecond position at Altitude OFF, as you say. That changes the entire narrative. Considering the radar has at least a 2-second cycling period, and the knob is no more than 200ms on it when going to Standby position, there is probably only a 10% chance of what you are saying.
